Chase Field

Phoenix, AZ  85004

Opened: 1998
Capacity: 48,633

Official Diamondbacks Website

Opened in 1998, it may be surprising that Chase Field is currently the fifth oldest ballpark in the National League and will soon take over the fourth spot when the Braves move from Turner Field following the 2016 season. Despite its advancing age, Chase has been well-maintained and typically gets high marks for cleanliness.

If you have never been to the Phoenix area or experienced temperatures well in excess of 100°F, you will very much appreciate the retractable dome and air conditioning that Chase Field offers.

Chase Field rarely sells out so getting tickets from the box office in advance or on the day of the game is usually an option. If you have ever had designs on getting those “seats” in the pool located beyond the right field wall, be prepared to spend the big bucks. Access to that area is only available as a suite rental package that will cost you between $4000-$7500, with food and drink included.
